The PSTA addresses the issue of representation and participation across the Prairie Provinces of Canada and across asset classes. There is a unique position in the Prairie Provinces with regards to our resource rich provinces, the trading of those resources and the trading of the companies who develop and distribute those resources. The PSTA believes that as Traders, the issues, rules and regulations that affect one type of Trader will also affect another, and that having a collective and broader forum to better understand industry issues or regulatory changes will make us all better Traders. We also feel that there is a need for advocacy on behalf of our industry when it comes to Government regulation and how those rules affect each market.
